Ring Pull - Looking to source

I've exhausted my sources to find this style of ring pulls. It's for my sole so it wouldn't be easy to go to another style. Thanks!Click image for larger version

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

Davey and Co , US retailer R&W Rope has a number of sizes of rectangular pulls. Some are larger and could be installed in a slightly enlarged cut out.
That pull is beautiful with the shape. I have never seen one quite like that.

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

I would suggest going up a size and using a chisel to expand the existing recess. Look at the Perko 0575DP0CHR, available from several sources.

If you need unplated brass you may have to get one from a breaker.

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

I bought several from Catalina Direct - These are the same style, slightly different shape. Perhaps you could adapt.

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

Have you tried to find a rectangular one with the same size ring, and just repair yours with the new ring. Or just replace the pin if the ring is not broken.

Good job LeaseOnLife. That sure looks like it to me, though no dimensions posted in the ad.

There are two images in the add that indicate the dimensions. Looks damn close if not the same.

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

Lease on Life,

Unfortunately the seller won't ship to the US.
I was just going to purchase one to verify the fit, then order 6 more.

Thanks for trying.

Re: Ring Pull - Looking to source

The person doesn't ship outside the UK. I think I have someone there to buy and ship to me. Did you want/need any? I'll just pass on my costs on to you.
