Raymarine Autohelm ST4000 MarK 1 Autopilot Wheel Drive -Refurbished

I sometimes take the time to rebuild a Mark 1 Wheel drive when I acquire enough parts. I break it down and refurbish the drive assembly to give it another 10 years out on the water. I rebuild these as if I was installing it on my own boat.

I completely disassembled the wheel drive, clean and inspect the components within.

Replace the the main drive-belt with new belt and also replace main pinion gear. Dis-assemble motor drive gearbox and clean out the 22 planet gears and re-lubed where required.

Motor has zero corrosion and very strong.

This would make an excellent spare or a direct replacement unit.
