[SOLD] Rainman 110V Stand-Alone Watermaker

For sale: a lightly used, one year-old RAINMAN stand-alone water maker and associated spares. This system consists of a 115V electric pressure supply unit and a High Output Reverse Osmosis unit and requires no installation or plumbing. The unit is rated to produce between 100 and 140 liters per hour (23 - 32 gph) and in our experience in the Caribbean generally performed in the upper end of this range. It pairs well with a fixed or portable generator (it worked perfectly with our portable honda -- not included).

The system is one year old and still has one year of factory warranty remaining. We used it for one to two hours every other week and flushed it with fresh water after each use. The system is currently pickled.

We used the Rainman during our Caribbean cruise this past year but unfortunately due to family and other constraints we are swallowing the anchor for the foreseeable future. This system will prove especially valuable to those planning to cruise the Caribbean this season as local availability of quality water has been severely impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

1 Bag of Pickling Solution Mix (Food Grade Sodum Metabisulphate) There is sufficient mix to pickle the unit many times.
1 High pressure pump oil plug (replaces the breather valve for shipping)
4 Mounting Brackets for Optional Fixed Installation
1 Manual and Quick Reference Card

Please note: The plastic case of the RO unit is a khaki green rather than the traditional bright blue that Rainman uses. Rainman was experimenting with this color and we agreed to take this unit at a small savings which we are passing on.


This unit retails for $5,308 and we are asking $3,700 -- more than 30% off the new price. The unit is available for local pick-up in the Annapolis, MD area.
