PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

Folks, just a heads up. The hard to get SOK lithium batteries have arrived at an outfit in Arizona. I picked up 4 206 AH batteries yesterday. They had about 200 batteries left at that time. I’m not associated with them, just passing along a great deal. These batteries get awesome reviews…

Re: PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

For me its a ton of power and works well for my needs… 800 AH, at that charging rate is fine as my systems aren’t too hungry. For the money it was awesome

Re: PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

there might be some misunderstanding about how to compute amp hours from 3.2V cells?

These are 3.2v cells? Im not familiar with SOK. That would change things a lot indeed.

Re: PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

I spoke too soon. i just checked and the brand, SOK, supplies full batteries, 12.8 V. I assume containing 4, 3.2 V cells.

Re: PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

So if you run these in Parallel does that mean you can charge at 100 amp and take a 200 amp discharge? With a 100 amp hour charger do they take most if it almost till completion?

The RV Concepts website has pictures of the internals. Look like the standard blue, aluminum case prismatic cells. One of the sales points is “replaceable cells”.

Re: PSA for LiFePo SOK Batteries

These are metallic case and prismatic, replaceable cells if needed. I’m not an expert on the ability to run in parallel and double the charge or output. I just know they will work for me and the cost / quality is awesome
