Re: Profurl Titanium bolts 3/8-16 FH

Hi Tomodore,

I've had good luck ordering titanium bolts from here: https://www.ti64.com/default.asp

Looks like these are what you need? https://www.ti64.com/coarse-thread-s...s-s/110771.htm

Allied titanium also has some but I have never ordered from them... https://www.alliedtitanium.com/toc_NSbolts.php

Hope it helps!

Thanks,
Lucas

Which model is yours? Mine is the NC32, I looked up the parts list (P039013) and was able to purchase them from Mauriprosailing.com, not cheap, but...

Re: Profurl Titanium bolts 3/8-16 FH

P039013 is not available anymore. total bummer. got the drawign of the correct screw from Profurl which shows its not coarse but fine thread which is the reason this corroded so badly. the screws you guys found are course thread. should be fine as new thread needs to be cut anyway... screw needed is definately an M10 with 1.25 thread or 3/8-24 which is the fine threaded version of 3/8-16 to my understanding.

Re: Profurl Titanium bolts 3/8-16 FH

I doubt there are any imperial bolts on a ProFurl. I replaced various stripped out, overpriced, unnecessary titanium bolts with regular 316 stainless. They had to be cut to length and then the head turned down to a smaller diameter to fit, but that's 5 minutes of work to avoid a $50 bolt. Most of them are weird sizes but possible to make from modified normal hardware.
