Are you still interested in purchasing a parasailor. I have just removed one from my 40ft Island Spirit, and it is in excellent condition. Complete with all lines/blocks etc... Available in London UK for £3,500.

Absolutely, what size your Parasailor ?

The size is 125 square metres, with a leech of 5.5m and a foot of 7.99m


Initially purchasedfrom Sea Teach in UK, and used for 5 years or so when sailing to theMediterranean and back in my 40ft catamaran. Comes complete witheasysnuffer, all lines, soft shackles, snap shackles and blocks –ready to go!


The sheets are 12mm diameter, colour coded red and green, and the guys are also 12mm diameter, coloured yellow.


The easysnuffer has itsown ratchet block.


The parasailor has itsown bespoke bag, and the lines etc are in a second one. The zips have failed on both of these. A new bag would cost £110 for theparasailor.


It is a mixture ofpurple, red and grey colours. In perfect condition, having only seen light use.

No, I don't. A couple of years ago, I sold it as I found it far too hard to put up and down. Whilst my wife was crewing with me, handling the spinnaker was too much effort. On the other hand, I was always able to use the parasailor, even when singlehanded (e.g. at night) without any bother.

P.S. Am also selling a drogue and a bridle if you were interested. Never used, bought when thinking of doing the ARC.
