Many thanks for your enquiry about my parasailor. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but I have been suffering from covid and not feeling the best. The sail is an original parasailor and was manufactured just over 10 years ago. The sail itself is symmetrical with a leech length off 17.26m(ie each side). The foot of the sail is 8.86m and the mid width of 10.65m.
The easy snuffer has a length of 17.8 m. I am the second owner of the sail. I bought it originally about six years ago from a Swiss couple who had changed boats and the sail no longer fitted. They were
buying a new parasailor (which fitted) fortheir
new boat. The Swiss couple had left the parasailor in the care of Parasailor
France and before I bought the sail it was checked over by them. The lines were not included in the original
sale and I spent over £1000 on new lines to fit my
boat... a Shearwater 45. When I bought the sail I was told that it had had little use. Since then, I have not used the sail at all. The new lines have also never been used. The sail has been stored inside the
cabin of my
boat ever since. The sail is at present on my boat which is
on the hard in Lisbon. I live in
Scotland. If you were interested I would quite happily fly out to the boat to meet up. The
sale includes the parasailor, the lines and the easy snuffer. It also includes the original sail bag which is also in good condition.
