Hi all-
I have recently replaced my Next Gen 5.5 KW genset with an identical new version, and am looking to sell the old one. The old one stopped putting out 120 V (was 80-85V) though otherwise was working perfectly. Removal of the genset ended up being tortuous and since I hired out that work, given the amount of labor involved, decided to purchase a new genset rather than repair the old one.

NextGen are very well regarded, robust, reliable generators.

Details:
5.5KW at 2800 engine RPM
Engine:
Kubota Z482 base engine with 599 hours
included: air filter, wiring harness, new exhaust elbow (in box), new fresh water pump as spare.
Very well maintained. Ran flawlessly last fall when removed

Head: Markon generator head- currently not putting out full voltage. Perhaps can be repaired/rewound. NextGen supplies a new Linz head and conversion kit to attach to this engine for $2500. New NextGen 5.5KW is $8500

Sale price $2000 for package as is. Located near Annapolis MD. Pickup only.
