Beautifully carved clear grain old growth fir bow sprit made for our 40ft classic ketch sailboat.
Solid bronze cranz iron made in Germany. Never used.
My amazing husband was the yacht builder Michael Dowding.
We spent 5 years restoring Moontide and this was the finale upgrade as we prepared to circumnavigate in sept.
Michael died of cancer and this piece was never installed.

We have not varnished or painted the bow sprit.

Nice piece .I saw your restore boat .Gongrats and sorry for your husband.
I had spent 4 years in a Perry 47 and finale is complete but the virus close all the ports inclusive for short trips to test .
