Nav Pod Chart Plotter Housing

I have a NavPod 9.5 (at least, it mounts to a pedestal rail with 9.5 inch spacing so assume that's where they get the designation from) that once held a Raymarine RL70 chart plotter.

Would work for that CP or something up to 14 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall. Could accommodate at bit larger in one of those dimensions if the other were reduced a bit.

Will post pictures soon.

$40 plus shipping.

Re: Nav Pod Chart Plotter Housing

I'm sorry but it won't accept anything that tall.
Max height for a good looking install would be about 8.75 inches.

I will edit the original post as it should have read 14 inches by 8.5 inches high, with a little give and take.

But understand that the maximum size that can be fitted is 14 inches by 8.5 inches high. Could maybe increase one dimension a little if the other is decreased a little. Give me your dimensions and the radius of the corners and i can see if it would look OK.

We it use the Simrad evo3 9". It has a 10" by 8" cut out and I will get back to you today after looking at the pedistal to confirm it will work.

Re: Nav Pod Chart Plotter Housing

Just showed it to the Admiral and she said that this will not work for all our expansion plans so we will not need it.
