Monitor wind vane

This was installed in the summer of 2017 but was never used (never even left the dock) and then removed spring of 2018 for safe storage. This is as close to "new" as you can get without unboxing it yourself. It is located in Fort Pierce, FL. We are asking $3500. PM me if you have any questions.
thanks, Tony

Re: Monitor wind vane

Wonder if the mount could be adapted to a Cabo Rico 38' full keel, keel hung rudder vessel ?

Re: Monitor wind vane

It was on a 1985 Hunter Legend 40 (20,000 pounds). It surely could be adapted to a thoroughbred like the CR 38. Because of the differences in transom shapes it may be possible with the supplied tubes. At any rate, the cost of the thin walled tubes would be minimal.

Re: Monitor wind vane

Soberkeels, as I don't have your email a post reply will have to suffice. This sale does include the hull mounting brackets. That is a very good question and after looking at my original post I see they don't appear in any of the attached photos. Sorry to all for that oversight. Just to clarify, I removed a fully installed, ready to leave the dock, monitor, washed it, polished it, inventoried everything and put in in a climate controlled storage unit for safe keeping. Sorry for any confusion caused by my actions or inaction.

Re: Monitor wind vane

Hi - Thank you for the reply, sorry I didn't post my email, I misinterpreted the forwarding instructions of how this bulletin board works. It did email me your reply though.

Also thank you for clarifying the 'package' . I will be in touch.

Ross.

Re: Monitor wind vane

Tony, I also have one in the same situation as yours (mounted on a new boat when delivered then customer removed, never actually used). Mine has a May ‘14 date of manafacture in the serial number. I’m trying to price it for the market so I’m wondering if you got your price? I’m in WA state. Thank you,
~E
