I recently installed a Mack Pack on my mizzen boom. I purchased the boom bracket but in the end decided not to use it because my boom is so narrow and rounded that the bracket just did not fit nicely.

It's about 13" high and 4-5" wide - the width can be adjusted for different size booms by bending it.
