Hello all,

I have purchased a 2005 Jeanneau 43 in Annapolis MD. I'm looking for someone to bring her up from Annapolis to Black Rock CT in the coming weeks.
I spent several days on her recently so know her fairly well. I would do it myself, but all the time off for looking at potential boats, surveys and sea trials over the last few months has me low on vacation days.

Recommend Captain Gary Hutson of S & H Yacht Deliveries. Mobile 410-456-9823 Home 410-686-0244 To be clear, I have done some deliveries with him. I am in the same yacht club as him and consider him a friend. I have great respect for him. He has been doing yacht deliveries for 20 years. Extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of boats both sail and power, including engines and systems. Very respectful of the boats he delivers. Also teaches sailing, cruising, docking. Owners who have accompanied him on deliveries have learned a great deal about all the systems on their boat, as well. Can trouble shoot just about any problems that arise during a delivery. Located in Middle River, MD area and does deliveries up and down the East Coast and beyond. He is doing a delivery this week from Rock Hall to the Connecticut River. Very familiar with the Annapolis area. I believe he has a delivery from Middle River to Long Island, NY the end of July but should be free after that.

Contact CAPCA - Chesapeake Area Professional Captains Association. They maintain a list of professional captains for deliveries, etc. Having more than one captain to choose from may improve your chances of getting a delivery on the dates you prefer and/or you may find a captain with experience on that particular boat.
