Lofrans Kobra Windlass
Installed new in 2002. This is the 12v 1000w model. It works electrically. The problem with it is the bolts that hold the stripper in place have pulled out and the body of the
windlass is damaged there. This happened about 4 years ago and I repaired it. It happened again about a week ago and I decided not to try to
repair it and instead replace it.
This is a horizontal windlass. Port side capstan, Starboard side chain
wheel. If you look at the pictures you can see where the problem is. The stripper is included, just not in the picture. It is held in place with 2 bolts. Both bolt holes need to be repaired
Only the windlass is being
sold, not the
control box nor the foot buttons. The original manual is included.
Will sell with or without the chain
wheel 5/16 HT.

Currently Vero Beach FL, but will be moving on as soon as the new windlass arrives and I install it. Will be traveling south in FL for the next few weeks with stops in
Lake Worth and
Key West.
