Kyocera Solar Panels

Kyocera (2) 140w solar panels. These panels are top of the line marine grade, and in very good condition. Panel size is 59 1/4” x 26 1/4”. $135 each, or $225 for both.
I am currently located in Coconut Grove outside of Miami. These are only available for local pick up, or I will deliver them within 25 miles of Miami for $20

Re: Kyocera Solar Panels

I wasn't aware that Kyocera made marine grade panels. I thought their warranty specifically didn't cover marine installations.

Re: Kyocera Solar Panels

We've had our Kyocera panels up for years (135W predecessors to the 140s) and they work very well.
Hope Will (OP) doesn't regret switching them out for some other over hyped panel.

Not sure where you got your information, but they definitely manufactured marine grade panels. Cruisers have been very successfully using Kyocera panels on their boats for years with little to none corrosion related issues. These are very high quality, well built panels and most certainly would give you many years of quality service for a reasonable cost.

Re: Kyocera Solar Panels

I have two of these Kyocera 140 watt panels set up the way that Will does on either side of the cockpit. I am very happy with them. When in a slip with the panels in the "down" position, I never have to plug in to 110 power. And when at anchor with the panels in the "up" position, my electrical needs are taken care of. (I have LED bulbs in the boat.) On a 36 hour non-stop sail with the panels in the "up" position, with the autopilot on and all the nav electrics on (2 chart plotters, VHF, AIS) and the running lights on at night, I only ran the engine for 45 minutes to be sure that my batteries would be in good shape. So, that is my experience. I think it will be hard to go wrong installing these.

Mounting hardware is not included, but they are relatively easy to mount depending on what application you intend on using them for.
