Icom706mk2g ssb, pactor modem and ah-4 tuner
These came with the boat. I tested it with my limited knowledge, it operates and I can pick up conversation. It was installed 2 owners ago, ballpark 7 years ago.
I know I won't ever put the effort in to fully understand it so I might as well sell it to someone who will. I will keep it installed so any local buyer can see it functioning. It comes with anything attached to it, that is dedicated to it.
Asking $1000. Currently located in deale Maryland. And making my way south

We will be stopping in Savannah. Probably this coming week. Is that close enough?

Has it been "opened up" so it sends and receives on the marine SSB frequencies?

Haven't got a clue. As I said above, very limited knowledge. I do know that the po put it in as a upgrade to his well used previous unit. So I assume he had it set up well.

Re: Icom706mk2g ssb, pactor modem and ah-4 tuner
Hey, guys, the ICOM 706 is a ham radio, not a marine SSB. Sure you can open it up - it's just clipping one capacitor, but you'll find anger from marine radio techs on this forum for having transmitted a really messy ham signal on a marine channel, and you are on your own in putting the marine channels into the freqency memory.
They are $400-450 on eBay at present.

That price must not be including a Pactor modem and automatic antenna tuner.
