Hurth HBW150

Hurth HBW150 that was working well but I'm repowering.

It is from my 1986 O'Day 40 with a Westerbeke 46, so I have the adapter too, if needed.

$700 CAD and I'll ship at your expense.

Re: Hurth HBW150

What are the forward and reverse ratio's of the gear box?

There are several different ones for this gearbox.

Re: Hurth HBW150

Hi Kevin,

Forward ratio is 1.88:1 but I don't know what reverse is.
If that is critical I can rotate it manually to get that.

Re: Hurth HBW150

You could always get a bigger engine.

Re: Hurth HBW150

Hello BCBoomer

I would be interested in your HBW 150 if it is still available. I have a recently acquired 1989 Gozzard 36 with that transmission and the Westerbeke 46. The tranny on my boat has a leak at the shift arm, I am having someone look at it but would love to have yours as a spare.

Thanks,

Robert

Re: Hurth HBW150

Sorry Robert, it has been sold.
About the only pieces left are the head, the serpentine kit and 200 amp alternator.
