This is a 1995 Switlik 6 Man
Liferaft that came with a
boat I just bought. I already have a newish
Liferaft so this one is surplus to my needs.
It does not appear to have ever been opened or re-certified. It was manufactured 7/29/95. It weighs 85lb.
It is located in Tacoma WA and will need to be picked up from that location.
The model number is 6200 - 1 and the
serial number is MD2-253
I know nothing about it other than the above. If you want it you must be prepared to collect it from the
boat as it is too heavy for me to
lift. It will certainly need (at a minimum) re-certification before use. It appears to be in excellent condition from the
canvas exterior and I am pretty sure it has never been opened up. It may or may not be operable or possible to re-certify so that is a risk to anyone that wants it. But it is free so it may be worth it for someone.
Anyone who wants it will need to sign a brief waiver stating that the donor (me) is not responsible in any way for anything that may arise from deploying or using it.
