Free: Raymarine S1 Tillerpilot and fluxgate compass

Mostly free to good home - super old and kinda functional tiller pilot. Including an old Furuno PG 1000 fluxgate compass.

Pay for shipping and it's all yours. Maybe throw me 5 bucks if you're feeling nice and want to buy me a beer. (I live in DC, a beer can cost 5... bucks here, easy. [emoji51] .)

The tiller pilot itself had a few issues staying together, so I used metal bands and other rigs to hold it in one piece especially under strain of less-than-perfectly balanced sails ( shame on me anyway!). All manuals included. Not seen in the photo - some wiring, probably usable, and the display that is still mounted on my boat. I will fetch those soon.

Make no mistake about it, it 100% worked when I pulled it out, (except for the unit itself buckling under pressure occasionally) but it's old, and a probably a beast to get installed and running again. But... If you're a tinkerer, like challenges, or just love spare parts - have at it! It was perfect for single handing for a few minutes to go below or handle sails. I've since upgraded to Raymarine ST2000. My boat is a Shannon 28 (disp. ~9k lbs), handled it ok here in Chesapeake. (ie no waves larger than 2 feet or so.

Drop me a line and let me know if you're interested. If you want it, let me know your address and I'll figure out how to get a shipping cost. First person offering to buy me a DC priced beer and the shipping gets it.

I'll take it, beer and either shipping or actually drive up to get it.
