Want To Buy: Foul Weather gear in Baja

Hola amigos, my friend has invited me to help him move his sailboat back up from La Paz to California, from what he tells me it is a pretty WET ride bashing up north against the wind/waves.

I am on the hunt for some weather gear">foul weather gear, does anyone happen to have some hiding in the back of a closet that they would be willing to lend/sell to me? Or any leads on where I might be able to track some down here in Baja? My friend lives in San Diego so I imagine I could also get it shipped to him and then he could bring it down.

For a single trip you might just buy some cheap PVC bib and jacket, sent to your buddy in SD for him to bring down. If you're looking to invest in long-term gear things can get expensive. He's right though, you'll want to have water protection and warmth or be subject to misery. At night, everything on deck will be damp from the moisture in the air, if not from spray.

On Amazon, search "pvc rain bib" or "pvc rain suit" and purchase based on your budget and taste. I highly recommend an actual bib and not just waterproof pants. Other than that, I rely heavily on my headlamp, beanie, thermals, neck gator and gloves...speaking for myself, I get cold easily.
