It's a Tamaya. Made in Japan. Very high quality, and it looks like it's in great shape. It would be a steal at $800 without the books and starfinder.


I don't think I've ever seen a Tamaya with a frame quite like this. Or with the extra knob on the micrometer ... similar to a Plath.

It’s not seen much use, I used it for practicals for my license on and off over 6 months.
It is a very nice sextant, however I’m not using it. It’s been in my closet for a couple of years now, so priced to sell quickly - hopefully to a new Cap’n license enthusiast.
I’m traveling to FL in Sep (Tampa) if anyone down that way wants it I’ll bring with me.
