We bought this ePropulsion Spirit 1.0+ Electric Outboard brand new in April 2021 and used it for about four months (April-July).

This portable 3HP electric outboard is made for dingies, fishing boats, sailboats and tenders. It features a 1276Wh large integrated lithium battery for long range. It’s nimble, lightweight, and clean power.

Outboard and Battery Specs:

• 3HP
• 22-mile average range on one charge at 4.5 mph
• 1kW BLDC motor
• 1276Wh Capacity
• Short shaft length: 24.6 in (according to the ePropulsion site, this is the recommended size for "boats with water heights up to 19.7 in")
• Folding tiller for easy storage
• Integrated rechargeable battery weighs only 19 lbs and robust for tough conditions. It also has positive buoyancy

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, because of the lithium battery, shipping has to be UPS ground (plus special safety handling requirements), so that means shipping will be pretty expensive to be delivered in California.

For instance, it cost $150 for us when we bought it new and for it be shipped from Ft. Lauderdale to Indiantown, FL, which is only 70 miles. We're happy to find out how much shipping would cost for you if you're still interested though. Thank you!

Wow! I didn’t think about the hazardous surcharge, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I can get it new with shipping for $2299 here but the extras are motivating. If it’s near $200 or so I would be interested still. All the best.

Hey Arne, we tried UPS Ground's shipping estimator several different ways and it kept coming up around $300-ish (not including packing material). The most affordable way we found was to ship the solar panel in one package and the motor+battery+charge controllers, etc. in another.

We're willing to work with you on the price if you're still interested. For instance, how's $2200 all in with all the extras and that would include shipping?

Also, we're actually flying overseas tomorrow for a two-week trip but will be back home on Jan. 30th. If this might be a good fit for you, we can make sure to ship as soon as we return. Thanks!
