For Sale: Edson Bronze complete rack & pinion Steering system

Up for grabs is this complete Edson Bronze rack & pinion Steering system for boats with outboard rudders up to 38 feet long.
It was bought brand new and installed last year on my new sailboat.
The old owner wanted a wheel , and I much prefer the simplicity of a tiller and outboard hung rudder...so , the Edson goes. The unit is in excellent , "like New" condition. It was installed , and sat on a sailboat in a marina for a year.

Edson’s Transom Hung Rudder Steerer is designed for boats up to
38' with outboard rudders. It has 1.6 turns of the wheel through
70˚ of rudder travel. When used with a 22" diameter wheel it has
the same mechanical advantage as a 71
⁄2'-long tiller. Wt. 26 lbs

This is a complete system that was purchased new from Edson and cost well over $5000.
I'm listing it at $3000. or a reasonable best offer.
The photos show the dimensions , but feel free ask any questions , get part numbers , come take a look , etc. etc.
I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alameda , to be exact.
Pickup would be great , but I have no problem packing well and shipping. Buyer pays shipping.
