I owned a house and a dock on this canal for 23+ years, nobody "get to stay".
The neighbors will call code, and I have done it too: I don't want strangers in my backyard or anybody shitting in my canal.
(There is no
pump out facilities, hence no liveaboards allowed)
A great area for storing a boat as it is far enough inland to be
hurricane safe, no storm surge, only winds.
