Custom made cruising Asymmetrical
Spinnaker 978.14 ft² complete with sock and
storage bag. It. was made in preparation for a trip that did not happen.
Made for a 38ft Caliber. With Challenge NFS64 1.5oz. Good 0 to 20 kts. Will fit sailboats 36ft to 44ft. This spinnaker was never used.
The 38ft Caliber dimensions are:
I: 50.50 ft. (15.30m)
J: 16.00 ft.(4.88m)
The polar for the spinnaker are TWS / TWA: 0–20 kts / 60–130degree
The spinnaker is easily managed with a spinnaker dousing sleeve (AKA a sock).
The sock pulls down over the sail using a continuous control line, with a bell-shaped opening to allow the sleeve to be easily pulled down or up.
When not in use the spinnaker and the sock are stored in a large spinnaker bag also included.
