Used Beta 14 engine, based on Kubota diesel. 2 cylinders, fresh water cooled, 14 horsepower. This is a current model engine, still being sold new by Beta Marine LTD. All parts are available from us, or any Kubota farm tractor dealer. List price is $9971, we are selling this engine deeply discounted to $4998.

It is complete, ready to install and run. Includes 40 amp alternator, NEW starter, NEW voltmeter, 2:1 transmission, four flex mounts, optional model "C" control panel with full instrumentation, 10 feet of wiring harness, optional high rise exhaust elbow, optional shallow oil pan, assorted manuals and parts book. New oil filter and fuel filter installed.

This engine is ideal for a 25 to 30' sailboat, or small launch.

Sold new in 2004, has 1208 operating hours, with LOTS of service life remaining. Starts immediately, and is an excellent runner throughout the rpm range, with no strange smoke or noises.
