I am still trying to find one with the oval bowl. Best price I can find just on the oval bowl is $400 lol.

I Like your project updates on Facebook! Nice work!

Re: Baby Blake, Blakes head

Can't help but wonder why anyone would spend 6 grand (or whatever ) for a head.html" target="_blank">marine-IRJDSUNE9932123321222xxeww-head?

The Baby Blake was "only" about $3500 last time I looked, about a year ago...only about $1,000 more than the list price of a Groco Model-K (which Defender has for $1400 available special order only). These are solid bronze "thrones" literally built to last at least 100 years. Original purchasers rarely leave them on their boats when they sell them...some are even passed on in their wills.

The W-C Winner, Imperial and Skipper, made to be "clones" of the Blake toilets, were the the first piston cylinder toilets to be built in the US...the Groco Model K is the only one still in production. Regrettably, new boat owners who acquire one on their first boat will replace it with a Jabsco when they find out that the price of a rebuild kit for one of these toilets costs more than the Jabsco. People who know their value have been known to find them in marina dumpsters

I have drawings and parts lists for all of them if anyone needs them.

Jim...your tag line "summer was nice, it was on Tuesday" reminds me of the Irishman who immigrated to Upper Michigan. He wrote glowing letters home about all the wonderful things there were do there...skiing, sledding, ice skating. When he received a reply asking about things to do in the summer, he wrote back, "I don't know yet...I've only been here 10 months. They tell me if it falls on a weekend, we try to have a picnic."
