Asymmetrical sail, professional surveyed, exc

We are selling for a friend a barely-used asymmetrical sail in excellent condition. 72' luff, 41' foot, 66' leech. $875 obo.

We took it to the Hasse sail loft in Port Townsend, WA for evaluation. Here are their findings:
"Sail in excellent condition, some light wear/chafe on head, tack and clew patches. "
"Sail is in excellent condition, as is the deck bag. There are a few chafe holes in the bag that should be patched."

We will show the survey to any prospective buyer.

Having a sail of this size and quality made new would cost at least $1,000.

This sail is large enough and the cloth is in good enough condition, for it to be cut down for a smaller sailboat.

Get your light air for less!

Email this ad, including your phone number.

The sail is in Port Angeles, WA. Make a day of it and come visit the beautifil Olympic National Park!
Cash only.
Thank you.

Big sail. In my area, you are way low on replacement cost. Bump for a good deal. No affiliation with the seller.

Re: Asymmetrical sail, professional surveyed, exc PICS!

Here are the best pictures I have.

Re: price. We have a very recent condition survey from the well-known Hasse sail loft in Port Townsend WA. They rated the sail as being in excellent condition, with almost no wear. That said, they value their own sailmaking skills very highly, and said that if their loft was to make yhe same size sail, it would cost $5,000 or more, due to the type of details they use. They said this sail would cost $1,000, perhaps more.

Re: the North Sails bag. There are no badges of any kind on the sail, but the Hasse sail loft rep said the construction details matched what they would expect from North. The owner's family has no idea.

It is a beautiful sail, and quite a good deal! Port Angeles is only three and a half hours from Seattle, and it is a great drive over to visit Olympic National Park, too...
