Anybody selling a hydrovane?

Hey guys, wife and I are looking to purchase a quality self steering system, as a few people on this forum are, and we're looking towards the used market. We're up in Juneau, AK so the possibilities of us finding anything used is slim to none nonetheless a hydrovane or monitor vane. Any help passing the word would be awesome! Many thanks!

Whoops, commented on the other post by accident! I'll definitely check into these, didn't know they existed. Do they come with a universal bracket system or is yours for a particular style transom?

Re: Anybody selling a hydrovane?

I have a monitor in near new condition. Was built in 04 for a voyager 27 with an external rudder. I believe you could shorten the mounting legs to fit your style transom easily. All the brackets are invluded, wheel adapter, 2 paddles ( heavy wind and normal ), and it has never been damaged by dock or boat. PM me your contact info if your are interested and we can discuss any other questions.

Yes, Most definitely interested. We have talked with Will from Hydrovane, and the brackets that would best fit our boat are the H and E brackets, and a L shaft length. Let me know!

I have a near new Moniter vane with all the sails and in perfect condition. It is a swingaway version made for open stern boats . it swings out of the way for use of the stern ladder and swim step. Only problem, I am in Fiji. I will let it go for $2500.00us they are over $500 new.It came off a 45 footer we did some work for as a trade. Bruce

Mine has the H & E brackets that you want but it is an S shaft so may not be quite suitable. Happy to let you have more details if required.

Re: Anybody selling a hydrovane?

I have Pm'd almost all repliers to the this post so far. Unfortunately I have talked to a few boaters and I think the hydrovane is the vane we are looking for. Anyone else selling one? Thank you to all those who replied.
