I was thinking pads to keep the flukes of an anchor off the gelcoat. The taper must be a clue to function.

Depending on size and composition, they look like the doodads that hold up my clock and barometer.

Re: Any idea what these are?

My old Autohelm mounts on something that looks a lot like the bigger one.

+2 on Autohelm mounts. The lower one in the photo is definitely one.

Yep, we still have one in the cockpit, which I would remove but it will leave 4 holes in a very visible position unfortunately.

I would stick them on the for sale forum for 10$ each plus postage. Someone will want them eventually.

Re: Any idea what these are?

So in reading the posts above I am thinking they're strong, and useful, 4 screw mounts, for whatever might fit?

Yes, even for an outdoor microphone mount.

Re: Any idea what these are?

Well nothing you kind folks have mentioned rings a bell with the reason l had purchased them. Something would be inserted into them to "Hang" a fitting from...l keep thinking they had something to do with a holder for a winch handle at the base of the mast but do not ever recall using them...possibly to mount a fire extinguisher? Just a puzzle.

One could be for a hh VHF and the smaller for a hand bearing compass.
