AIS Class B Transponders

I have three working transponders for sale. All are NMEA 0183 output.

- One is a West Marine AIS-1000. It includes the power/data cable, an instruction booklet and a CD-ROM. It is programmed with my boat's data. It can be reprogrammed by taking it to West Marine with your data. Cost was $50 programming fee, no postage (about four years ago). Took about two weeks to get it back. Price is $250 plus shipping.

-Two are brand new ONWA KS-200 Black Box Units, purchased two months ago. They are programmable by the user, and can be reprogrammed at any time with updated boat data. Price is $150 plus shipping. Here is a link to the factory page: https://onwamarine.com/ks-200a/

-For an extra $25, I will include a GPS antenna (brand new). For an extra $15, I will include a GPS antenna mount (brand new).

These all require a dedicated VHF antenna or a splitter. They all require a GPS antenna and 12v power.

NOTES:
- US regulations prohibit the end user from programming of AIS data into a transponder.
- Programming one of the ONWA units is not difficult, but it isn't trivial, either. You must have a 12v power supply or battery available during the programming. You must have a RS232-to-USB connector to hook it up to your computer. You must be able to download and install the driver software and the programming software. If you don't know how to do these operations on a computer, I strongly suggest you do not buy the Black Box units. Buy my West Marine one instead!
- I ship by least expensive method, usually USPS flat rate. I never add boxing or handling charges.
-Payment via PayPal only.
-You can pick them up in Spring Hill, FL ZIP 34607 if you want to save the shipping charges.

Still have two of the ONWA user-programmable AIS transponders available. $150 each.

Re: AIS Class B Transponders

Buyer backed out, so it's available. I don't have any GPS antennas or mounts left. This particular unit was programmed once for practice, but never installed or used. Please PM me if interested.
