Re: 3/8 Dyneema
I'm interested. Do you have any left? I'd like one with a eye splice.

Re: 3/8 Dyneema
I have a bunch of this also. Would he interested where it really came from. I don't think it's SK75 but maybe it is. Have used it for waterstays on a maincat 30 pole going to make some for a bigger cat this week

Re: 3/8 Dyneema
Used as a babystay on my cat. Was too stretchy. Had to go to wire.

Re: 3/8 Dyneema
New England Ropes Endura 12
LOW STRETCH, VERY HIGH STRENGTH. Endura 12 features 100% Dyneema®Fiber. This 12-strand single braid is treated with a unique Marine-Tech coating for excellent abrasion and UV resistance. Endura 12 is a 100% HMPE fiber rope characterized by extremely high tensile strength and ultra-low elongation. The rope is coated with urethane formula to enhance abrasion resistant. Because Endura 12 has extremely low stretch, there is low recoil energy in the event of rope failure due to overloading.
BENEFITS: Ultra high tensile, lightweight, low stretch, and it floats
APPLICATIONS: Cascade lines, halyards, wire rope replacement, cunninghams, and vang systems.
MATERIAL: HMPE

Re: 3/8 Dyneema

May not have pre-stretched it well enough, & it could be one or several other little things that would cause this. Do some research on it starting at the Colligo Marine website. Including their testing of various types of Dyneema, & which sort is best to use where.

There was miles of this line spread across various surplus outlets over the last few years. Exact same line as your pictures. Not a dig on you, but I've been a rigger for 25 years and I doubt it's SK75.
Never seen any of it clearly identified as New England. My guess is maybe some type of military surplus.
Anyway, fine stuff for many applications not standing rigging on any type of high aspect rig.

It would make more sense for you to send a PM instead of speculating in my ad. Every line I sell has a tag identifying it, I do remove it because it also shows the U.S. supplier.
PM if you have information or questions.
