I've been fighting with a Galley Maid restoration - and finally just drilled out all the spot welds today. I might be able to get it going, or perhaps not.

What kind of condition is the shipmate? I converted a shipmate from Alcohol to Kerosene 40 years ago, then sold the boat after 5 years of cruising. I bought it back last year (a long story) and my wife and I are restoring it. In the intervening 35 years propane was installed, but we've removed it. The shipmate is a better built stove than the Galley Maid. How much do you want for it, and where are you in NY? (we're visiting our daughter in Queens, NYC 3 weeks)

I have a Kenyon three burner w/oven. Has the Petria burners; works well.
