16" Max-Prop 3-blade feathering propeller

We replaced the propellers on our boat (due to losing one) while overseas. Then I sold the boat but kept the Max-Prop. And now I have a motor yacht.

So...I have a 16" 3-blade MaxProp feathering propeller for saildrive for sale.
The Max-Prop offers the unique feature of external pitch adjustment using a breakthrough patented system. This system allows for a complete pitch adjustment by a diver without any tools. The SD Max-Prop is adaptable to the Volvo, Yanmar, and Bukh saildrive units.

This propeller sells for over $3,400 new. Will sell for $1,000 OBO. Presently in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that's a Max Prop Classic. No external pitch adjustment.

The pitch is adjustable. And yes, it's for a saildrive as noted in my post.

Yes, of course the pitch is adjustable. But the prop has to be disassembled to do it. It absolutely requires tools to do.

If this will work on a Volvo D2-55 sail drive, I'll take it.

In addition to the pitch being adjustable, the direction of rotation is as well.

Just an aside question. What is list since the blades apparently have a space to between them and the hub?

Excuse me it was a typo. Since the root is about 1/3 from the hub is that gap causing a significant amount of lose, of efficiency compared to standard prop...
Granted the advantages of folding while sailing a good.

Approximately 6-7% less efficient than a fixed prop going foward. Much more efficient in reverse.

It's a feathering prop not a folder.

And FastBottoms is correct, it's a classic MaxProp.
