Re: Who's got a Ukulele on Board?
I wonder what kind of flack Ned Beatty took from his colleagues. Talk about have to have a good sense of humor.

Re: Who's got a Ukulele on Board?
My Uke fits puurfect in boaty saloon.
I did buy a harmonica last year that I was intending to learn. But since living on the boat it would feel a bit stereotypical. Living alone, playing a harmonica on an old wooden boat... I'd just need a dog to howl along to me. So I havent started to learn yet.

Ok, now I'm really hanging myself, here is a little tune I did on the iPhone using my uke and glockenspiel, I then set it to some sailing video we took while sailing on Moreton Bay and dedicated it to my long suffering partner Jen. I know, I know but please be kind.....

Re: Who's got a Ukulele on Board?
Surfingminniwinni, that was wonderful. Thank you for sharing that.
The sunlit day, the calm sailing, the tenor of your voice, the harmonic uke strumming, I was captivated. I would even say I was hypnotized as I thought back over the yrs of a special someone. And isn't that the measure of music but to lure us into a trance like state of beauty however abstract?
That could be featured in a musical score of a special moment. Thank you.

Re: Who's got a Ukulele on Board?
Very nice video surfingminniwinni.
Also Jake Shimabukuro is in a class by himself. Makes my rendition of "Tom Dooley" look pathetic.
