Whales - They are Big when You're in a Dinghy

Out on Moreton Bay this morning in the tinny and these guys popped in for a visit.
They followed us around, I spent most of my time backing away.
I got plenty of other footage but this is probably the best bit

Kinda makes ya feel small don't it !! LOL we have seen many of em and never get over the feeling of ahh when they come up near the boat !! when we were on our way to Louisiana 12 yrs ago we saw so many off mexico, we were watching them for a couple of days !! they go to a lagoon to breed or have thier young or something like that !! sure was a great trip !!

Nice to see though, I found even a full grown seal look's pretty big when it pops up close to the dink

Nice! Great to get video like that. I had a humpback go under the port side of my bow and under the boat to surface on the starboard side. Made my 35 foot ketch feel small.

This was in the tender (4m tinnie) for the boat that is currently "moored" in the back yard.
