waiting for weather cross GOMEX

Howdy Y'all!

My wife and I aboard Nomad, our Tayana 48, are sitting in Pass Christian, Mississippi waiting on a 3 day weather opportunity to make it to Texas. That can be tough this time of year...

We made 500 miles north from Marathon a week ago. Now it's time to go west the next 500 miles.

It looks like we have our weather! Well, maybe...This time of year things can change in a heartbeat.

Right now we have between 4 and 6 days (depending on how you read it) to make the little over 500 miles from Mississippi to Texas. Hoo ah.
