Tom Rush?

The voice sound familiar but I can't place the name, but here's a cute song that might strike a chord with a few of us aging boaters.

Now what was I talking about again? Oh yeah! Honey, where's the boat keys?

Voltaire (pseudenom of Francois Marie Arouet) said it, not me:
“Anything too stupid to be said is sung.”

Now, what was I doing ...

Tom Rush

Hi there, he is a 60's folk singer. I met him in The Kettle of Fish bar on Bleecker St., Greenwich Village mid decade. His father worked at Harvard, so he went there on perk's. Nice guy with a nice blonde accomplice 6' named after a bon bon or cake. Good lyricist.

Tom Rush is a great song writer guitar player. Clearly a legend in New England. I saw my first concert in 1972. He has gotten older and the voice has suffered but he still plays great guitar. He was quite good with electric too. He is still touring in New England and has a web site where you can catch the old albums now on CD and the concerts for this summer.

Woooooooooosh! That went right over his head! Tiger, buddy, I was only joking. The "Song" that I linked to in the original post was about aging and forgetfulness!

Now where were we? Oh yeah, Hunny bunny where'd you put my boat keys?
