That weekend is at the end of spring break. We'll be in Mississippi. I can't really say I'll be back, but I'll try.

Re: Texas Cruisers Forum Meetup
OK, I talked to the Marina and we set the dates, April 4 - 5- 6 for the event. If you plan on staying a month, I was told they look at each month as 1st to 30th or 31st an they do prorate days like you got there the 4th and left the 30th it would be 26 days. We have been given the ok to use the conference room Friday and the pool area all weekend and we could bring in a bar b que by the pool an do a little cooking also. The main building is closed Saturday and Sunday but they have good heads an showers. Since we would be busy Saturday it wouldn't matter and Sunday would be on the dock if good weather. So far we have only 3 boats I think, RainDog, Gordo and mine. This is a open free event so is there any other sailors who want to be a part of this 1st Gathering of the Texas Cruisers Forum. A little spot in History will be shared, come and join in!

Re: Texas Cruisers Forum Meetup
I think now might be a good time to start a new thread. If you title it "Galveston Cruisers Forum Meetup" it might grab some attention from people who missed this thread. I will post it to the Texas group too.

Re: Texas Cruisers Forum Meetup
Well, sorry to say Rain Dog and Ocean Girl will not make the Galveston meet up. I have been sick and we need to go back to Cedar Sinai in California the first week of April. So sorry!!
The good news is we are moving the boat back to clear lake, so as soon as I'm recovered we will have a big bash to celebrate
Again, so sorry to bail, was really looking forward to meeting everyone.
