Shelter bay - funny singing bird?
What kind of bird is the one in shelter bay (Panama) which everybody have heard there

The yellow and brown thrush sized bird is a kiskidee and they make a lot of noise. The grackels are also quite noisy. The parrots and parakeets are always making a racket.
So it depends on what sound you are focusing on.
If Jedi is around (check the haulout yard), they know their birds.

Oropendolas have a rather distinctive call. There are a few nesting flocks of them around SB/Fort Sherman.

Lots of bird life here so hard to narrow down without a description.
Just returned from an early AM walk. Heard lots of different birds including Oropendolas. Heard Howler Monkeys. Saw White Faced monkeys and a Paca.

what i thought was a bird at night turned out to be geckos ,, one or two on every window of my house ,, i dont have any on my boat but i think i will import a couple now that i think of it

Ah, yes geckos do have a "song" of sorts...big poo for such a small lizard too!

Well, I was in shelter bay boatyard for about 3 weeks and I heard that bird every day. It was such a cool sound and did not sound like a regular bird. The song was pretty long. There was no other bird singing that I noticed that much like this one. This was in march 2013. My boat was in the boatyard near the port captains/customs office

Did the song sound like "Kis-ki-dee"? Great Kiskadee, Sounds, All About Birds - Cornell Lab of Ornithology
They are very common there.
