Seeking recommendations for replacement hinged deck cushions

We have 2 very old hinged floor/deck chairs that have about 6 inches of great padding. They are very sturdy and the backs hinge from 90 degrees down to flat. They are very sturdy and don’t need anything behind the back part of the cushion. We use them both on deck and in the cockpit. We need to replace them and the only outdoor hinged chairs/ cushions I can find on the internet in no way match up to what we have - and get mixed reviews. Ours came with the boat when we got it, so I do not know where these were purchased or if they were custom made. Any recommendations for new ones? Thanks a lot.

We have had good results from going to a local furniture upholsterer. They are familiar with a wide variety of cushioning materials and fabrics (including Sunbrella) and are capable of whipping something up that works well because they know how it all goes together. We've used one to make both customized cockpit and V-berth cushions - very different requirements. They could probably recognize immediately the materials in your existing cushions and copy it - or perhaps even improve it if you took yours to them. Online may not work to your benefit in this situation. Buy local; they need the business!
