Hi everyone,
The excitement on day that I bought my Odin 820 powersailer was almost the same as the day I bought my
Macgregor 26X except four times greater.
Two foot-itus was my delemna but what a fantastic upgrade to the
Odin 820.
More room, lot's of storgage, extreme comfort (for the wife) , and better performance on the
water was my dream. What can I say, my dream came true.
Having the option of sailing your
boat or
boating under
power made me realize that I would be getting more use out of my
boat and that there was no other type I would want to have.
Also, I would be trailering to places I never dreamed of sailing was an added bonus.
To me, this is the boat of the future.
I don't worry about expensive berths, I can sleep in
trailer parks with ease. It takes me 1 1/2 hours to rig my boat and I can launch it in 12 inches of
water.
My 28 foot boat sleeps six, has a full
galley and
head and can easily take on four people for a weekend sleepover.
It's all I ever wanted in a boat that could travel where ever I wanted safely.
I could go on and on about my boat because it's the best decision I ever made.
These
boats are of a kind that get handed down to the next generation.
They are built to last.
It's the best of four worlds. Sailing, powering, trailering and camping.
It doesn't get any better.
