Nova Scotia cheap cell plans including calls to USA

cheapo prepaid cell plans?

I use a $35 a month unlimited plan in the USA, does not include roaming while in Canada.

Maybe a prepaid plan in Canada with included calls to the USA?

Its like 50$ + tax unlimited 3 g data then goes slow like dial up near.
It’s also the cheapest in Canada outside con job promotions from Bell and Rogers. We get pretty much screwed on Cell thanks to the big creeps answering to investors not customers.

If you have T-Mobile in the US. you can travel to Canada as if you were going to another state. with unlimited voice text and data

I think Google Fi is now unlimited in Canada, too. Haven't tried it so I can't vouch for it.

now I remember a couple of years ago using a carrier with unlimited, no extra charges in Canada, was not sure if it was T-Mobile, will stop by the local office tomorrow.
They offered a nice, helpful hot spot.

looks interesting for cruisers staying in Nova Scotia for a few months, and having an extra older phone deactivated from earlier use makes it more attractive, with plans starting at $20 unlimited voice and text, without having to buy a new phone.
Data is different, more expensive.
Perhaps the plus is keeping the phone being used without having to switch carriers?
TMobile used before and had a hard time to discontinue service, was charged several months until finally after many calls and visits to their stores they loose their grip.
