New Year: Who got out today?

Dana Dillion new years day race here at the bottom of the Chesapeake bay

We went about three hours south and anchored near Sarasota for a couple of nights, came back the day after New Years. Temps were in the upper 70s on the way back. Very pleasant.

SE. Florida, it was 80 deg and breezy, perfect 15-18kts. of wind from the SE.
went out about ten miles caught a Kingfish until the crew started feeling a bit queasy
then came in. Awesome day.

Had a wonderful day watching the whale off of Waikiki. One whale hanging out on the surface, slapping his pectoral for about two hours until a SUP decided to approach it. He was only a 1/4 to 1/2 mile off of the beach in 80 to 100 feet of water.
