Shes just boarded this little boat to work as cook and dive master for a 10 day run from Miami to the Bahamas and back. Ill admit it, I wish I was going.

Ha, no, not really. She sent it to me. We have turned in to good friends over the years. She tried to get me to go but, I have to work the real job.

I'd be pissed not jealous...

My ex and I are friends because raising a kid makes it the right thing to do and because I send her a bloody great check every month.

You know that cruising on $5000 a month thread? She could do that and still save for retirement. Yet she constantly tells me how hard it is to make ends meet while she doesn't work!

In the meantime I break rocks 10-12 hours a day...

(No - I am not as bitter as I seem to be. Just offering a counterpoint - LOL)

Hey at least u have an ex who likes to sail.... Although we planned for years to cruise, she changed, and I gave up my marriage in order to cruise ..... Dreams manifested takes priority....Thankfully, we turned out to remain friends tho on totally different paths now.
