Looking for kids in the Bahamas

We are currently in Morehead getting ready to head down to the Bahamas. We have two very bored boys (10&12) on-board. Not sure how they can be bored- there is so much to do!

Where are the families located???

These folks may be able to help you, and they may still be in the area:

Re: Looking for kids in the Bahamas

In the Abacos I can think of several places to meet up with families with kids:

Treasure Cay- Anchor in the big basin in front of the marina and it costs something like $10/d to use the dinghy dock, pool and showers. Families often hang around the pool.

Nippers Pig Roast- Every Sunday Nippers on Great Guana Cay does a pig roast. Lots of families there.

Jib Room- The Jib Room at Marsh Harbor Marina used to do an all the rum you can drink special on Thursday afternoon and participants brought a covered dish to share. Don't be put off by the booze, lots of families were there.

Although I haven't been to the Exumas, I understand that Georgetown has almost every social activity you can think of: volley ball games, softball, etc.

Hi
We are in Eleuthera right now but heading to the Exumas in the next 2 weeks. We have three boys 8, 6 and 2. Perhaps we will see you there.
