Is there an item manufactured for attaching a kayak to the rail of a sailboat?

I heard of this thing called "line."

Not sure of anything else but maybe you could use a kayak roof rack in some way??

there are kayak racks. i use a rope, named line to tie it onto my shrouds, or i place them on my cabin house roof, under main boom, and lash em to the grab rails.
