Anybody here remember the old Infocom game "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"?

There's one scene where Zaphod Beeblebrox is piloting a speedboat. The only way to survive is to intentionally drive the boat into the rocks. If you do, the autopilot takes over and gets you safely to your destination. If you try to run the boat yourself, you die.
