Gulf of Mexico Guidebooks/Charts

Please recommend guidebooks and charts (preferably chart books) for sailing between Texas and Florida. We're considering towing our Precision 23 from MN south for winter months 2017. Considering launching Florida or Texas. Any advice about prevailing wind and other conditions will be most welcome.

Bluewater Books & Charts is an excellent source for charts, chart kits, cruising guides, etc. Map Tech makes good chart kits (spiral bound collection of charts) for the region.
