I have fished the northern Gulf my whole life and never knew of these rules.
I know that ignorance is no excuse for the law, but I have never been boarded and and have never had my ice chest much less my freezer inspected. I have only very rarely been asked to show my license.
I have to think for any of these laws to be enforced, you have run into Barney Fife and have made an enemy?
Has anyone ever been cited for any of this?
No I have only been to South Fl a few times, and it became readily apparent that was a different world than the Fl that I grew up in
